From the kitchen
“This week we’re leaning into late-summer stone fruit and the first of the heirloom tomatoes out of Hood River. If a dish doesn’t survive the walk from our prep table to your table within ninety seconds, we don’t put it on the menu. Dietary tags aren’t an afterthought here — every plate is engineered to be reordered as vegan, gluten-free, or nut-free without losing the reason we wrote it in the first place.”
Every bean is roasted on-site at our Central Eastside roastery and lands in your cup no more than three days off the drum. Four house pours below — the full bar (lattes, cortados, batch brew, cold brew, tonic) lives on every café chalkboard.
Our seasonal Loring roast, pulled short and bright — caramel, red apple, dark cocoa. Available single or double.
Today’s Konga from Ethiopia — jasmine, bergamot, ripe peach. Brewed to order on V60, Kalita, or Chemex.
A clean, balanced cup of our current house blend — brewed in 1L Fetco batches so it never sits longer than 30 minutes.
A limited Al-Mokha micro-lot we roast once and pour for a few weeks — dried fig, cardamom, cocoa nib. Ask at the bar.
Same price for oat, almond, soy, and pea milk — a policy we’ve held since we opened in 2014.
Take the roast home →Zero high-fructose corn syrup across the entire menu since 2017. Each syrup is cooked down on our prep line in small batches — what’s pouring today:
Because a latte should taste the way you want it to — not the way your budget tells you to. We’ve charged the same for plant milk since the day we opened our first café on SE Stark in March 2014.
Four dishes our regulars send back to us in DMs, reels, and postcards — and the most-photographed items across all four cafés.
All four dishes above can be reordered vegan or gluten-free — just ask your barista.
